Christofferson previews UTA governance bill, cites corridor preservation presentation

Representative Kay Christofferson reported that the Utah Transit Authority presented to legislators about the importance of preserving corridors so homes and businesses do not encroach on planned transit service lines. She said, “it’s important it is to preserve corridors so that, homes or businesses don't encroach on paths that they're they're wanting to, use as service lines.”

Christofferson also said she is developing legislation to change UTA’s governance structure to be more in line with the transportation commission: “I'm working I've got a bill that works with the governance of UTA.
