Representative Kay Christofferson gave a brief update at the end of the third week of the legislative session, saying the body is moving quickly and asking constituents for input on bills. "Right now, we have about 770 numbered bills," she said, adding there are additional measures not yet numbered.
Christofferson said she tries to read constituent emails and invited people to raise concerns or questions about specific bills even though she may not always reply because the session is so busy. She described long daily hours at the Capitol — often starting at 7 a.m. and running until around 7 p.m. on many weekdays — and closed by encouraging ongoing feedback as the session progresses.
