The Central Pacolet Planning Commission on July 27 moved to table approval of its most recent minutes after members discovered the document listed the wrong meeting date and misattributed motions.
The Chair said the minutes showed "the dates wrong. It says July 27. It was June 8," and pointed to Section 5a and Section 6b as containing incorrect attributions and statements. The clerk moved to table the minutes "until the corrections are made," a motion that was seconded by a commission member and carried by the body.
Members discussed specific discrepancies, including a line saying "Mister K made a motion to accept the proposed changes regarding multifamily residential," which participants said was inaccurate. The clerk and the Chair agreed staff will update the draft so it accurately reflects who made motions and other procedural details. The commission did not vote on the substance of the minutes; the item will return after corrections.
