Eagle Ridge New Tech High School students updated the board on a range of CTE and academic activities, spotlighting hands-on projects and competitive successes.
Students described construction program projects (including an 8x16 cottage built by freshmen and a 500 sq. ft. sidewalk by intermediate students), agricultural and manufacturing showcases, and FFA competition results (beginning division: 1st Aiden Jimenez; advanced division: 1st Rose Purkhiser). They also noted a new night school credit-recovery program led by Mr. Michael Myers with 17 students currently enrolled, and that about 40% of seniors participate in dual-credit College Now courses.
Board members congratulated students and staff for program growth and community partnerships that support college and career readiness.
