The council received an update on the sewer rehabilitation project: Hodges Farm & Dredging is consulting with BG Consultants to determine whether sludge from the project should be hauled away or land-applied.
BG Consultants’ Abby Mills requested Hodges Farm & Dredging submit a change-order proposal so consultants can evaluate the disposal options and costs. No contract changes were approved at the meeting; staff indicated the change order request is a procedural step to obtain the necessary information for a decision.
Council members did not vote on a disposal method at the session and asked for the change-order paperwork to come forward for review when available.
