The Labette County Unified School District No. 506 Board of Education on March 9 approved its printed agenda with an added item: the resignation of LCHS head volleyball coach Heather Wilson. Justin Bebb moved to add the resignation; Kevin Cole seconded and the motion carried 5-0.
The board then approved the consent agenda, again including the added resignation. Kevin Cole made the motion to approve the consent agenda; Brian Harlow seconded and the motion carried 5-0. The consent action formalizes receipt of the resignation and any routine items listed on the consent docket.
The meeting was called to order by Jessie Foister and opened in prayer by Dr. Kolette Smith. No public comments or recognitions were recorded during this segment. The board set the next regular meeting for April 10, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Meadow View Grade School.
