Board approves $28,900 KDHE grant contribution for district window project

At the time of the vote, board member Greg Bogner moved “for the amount of $28,900 from the KDHE Grant to help in the cost of [the] Window Project,” and the board approved the motion. Board members present who voted in favor were Justin Bebb, Greg Bogner, Kevin Cole, Jessie Foister, Brian Harlow and Dr. Kolette Smith.
The action provides targeted grant funding to the window project; the board did not specify a full project budget or a construction schedule during the meeting. District staff and the architect will take the approved grant allocation into account as project planning continues.
