Board keeps paper packets for now; MidCo bus contract slated for November

Board members discussed how they will receive meeting materials and board operations during the Oct. 23 session. While members said electronic packets would generally work, the Board Chair indicated she would like to continue receiving a paper packet for the time being.
The board also noted the MidCo bus contract will be an upcoming agenda item in November; MidCo staff are scheduled to report to the board on how the current year is progressing. The district reviewed calendar items including the OSBA Annual Convention (Nov. 7-10), National STEM/STEAM Day (Nov. 8), and regular board meetings on Nov. 13 and Dec. 11. Budget Committee vacancies were identified as a future agenda item for November. The meeting adjourned at 8:29 p.m.
