Board approves OSBA bylaw amendments and two Eastern Region officer elections

The La Grande School District board voted unanimously to approve Resolution 2025-05 and Resolution 2025-06 to amend portions of the Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA) bylaws and dues schedule, and Resolution 2025-07 concerning composition of OSBA's Board of Directors. Director Jake Hanson moved the resolutions; Director Merle Comfort seconded and the board recorded unanimous approval.
Separately, the board approved OSBA officer election positions as presented: supporting Chris Cronin for Position 1, Eastern Region and Randy Shaw for Position 1, Eastern Region. The minutes list these items and identify attachments for each resolution in the board packet.
