Facilities report: greenhouse, operations center, arts hallway complete; Wildcat Center nearly finished

Manager Brad Sunderman briefed the board on finished and active facilities projects. He cited completed work at the LMS Greenhouse, the Plant & Operations Center and the La Grande High School (LHS) Arts hallway; active projects include new lights in the LHS Commons, Greenwood awnings and new basketball hoops, with HVAC upgrades and the LHS vestibule planned for the school year.
Superintendent George Mendoza and staff reported that the Wildcat Center classrooms are fully functioning and that most Wildcat Center technology should be complete by late next week. The district listed a Wildcat Center grand opening on Sept. 25, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.
