Manager Casey Hampton told the board that most schools now have full camera coverage and that the district plans to continue updates where needed. He said environmental sensors have been installed to provide monitoring in locations where regulations limit camera use.
Assistant Superintendent Scott Carpenter said the district will continue perimeter tests to improve response procedures and refine processes; no new emergency-preparedness policies were adopted at the session, but the board reviewed ongoing investments in monitoring and response.
