The City of Mission accepted the final plat for the Encore development and approved dedications of right-of-way and easement adjustments along Martway Street.
Taylor told the council the Encore plat combines five parcels into a single lot for a proposed four-story apartment building of about 180 units with a five-level parking garage providing 241 stalls. The plat dedicates roughly 14.5 feet of right-of-way along Martway Street to cover the sidewalk and on-street parking areas, and it revises drainage easements along Rock Creek. "This plat combines the 5 parcels ... and dedicates about 14 and 0.5 feet of right of way along Martway Street to the city," Taylor said, explaining why council action was required.
A council member moved to accept the final plat with the dedications as noted on the plat; the council took a roll call vote and the motion carries. The action clears a planning step needed for the Encore project's next development phases; any TIF or incentive decisions are separate and will follow public hearing and negotiation processes.
