Team presents low‑glare LED lighting plan; board notes legend mismatch

The project’s engineering team presented an exterior lighting and photometric plan during the site review. Mike Ott described the proposed fixtures as modern LED 'shoebox' luminaires on short black posts, with a color temperature of 3,000 Kelvin and photo cell and timer controls.
"It's just a very, you know, a typical simple... LED luminaire, a color temperature of 3,000 Kelvin," Ott said. The concrete bases for the posts will extend about 2 inches above finish grade; building‑mounted entry lights required by code will also be provided. A board member pointed out that the legend symbols in the plan do not match the circles on the drawing; the design team acknowledged the mismatch and said they would correct the legend when they resubmit the corrected sheets.
Architect Dave Atkinson also noted recessed canopy lights at the front and rear entrances and code‑required emergency lighting. The fixtures are intended to shine downward onto sidewalks and entrances rather than produce outward glare.
