Selectboard members raised two local safety and right-of-way items at the June 18 meeting. Selectboard member Mary Catherine Graziano requested that the large lilac at the corner of Church and Main streets be trimmed because it obstructs safe turning movements. The board agreed that trimming is needed and will follow up to schedule the work.
Pat Treckman and Robin will investigate a driveway and stone pad on East Shore Road that appears to cross the town right-of-way and may be intended for a camper. The board directed them to look into the apparent encroachment and report back. Chair Peter Brzozowy moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:21 p.m.; the motion passed by voice vote.
