Staff: no personally assigned port vehicles; asset inventory underway

Port staff told the council they are cross-referencing multiple vehicle lists and, based on review, there are currently no personally assigned vehicles; a consolidated asset and condition list will be delivered to commissioners next week.
Commissioners pressed staff for details on which vehicles are assigned to whom and the condition of port vehicles. Miss Bell said she has received multiple lists and is cross-referencing vehicle titles, marine vehicle assignments and ferry-vehicle records to compile a single inventory.
"What I can say to you is that based on my review, there are no personally assigned vehicles at this time," Miss Bell said, and staff will produce an age-and-condition inventory showing where vehicles are parked and who maintains them. She asked commissioners for more time to reconcile records and offered to provide a fuller report next week.
The chair and commissioners thanked staff and asked for the consolidated list at the upcoming meeting.
