The City of Owosso tentatively awarded two construction contracts for its 2026 Water Main Replacement project to Glaeser‑Dawes Corporation during the July 6 meeting. Contract 1 was tentatively awarded for the amount shown in Resolution No. 106‑2026 and Contract 2 for $2,640,530.95 under Resolution No. 107‑2026. Both awards are contingent on successful receipt of Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) bond proceeds.
The Director of Public Services & Utilities (referenced in meeting materials as Ryan E. Suchanek) recommended awarding to the low, responsive bidder. Council approved the tentative awards by recorded roll call; final contract execution and payments will occur only after financing arrangements with the DWSRF are secured.
