The Isle La Motte Selectboard unanimously voted on Sept. 17 to amend the traffic ordinance and revert the posted speed limit to 45 MPH on the stretch between the Historical Society and Lakehurst. The motion, made by Chair Peter Brzozowy and seconded by Cary Sandvig, carried with recorded language "all in favor."
The board specified that the existing pole will remain in place and only the sign face will be changed from 25 MPH to 45 MPH. The topic of signage updates elsewhere on town roads remains pending while Joe Deller was absent from the meeting.
