Newdale council adopts Resolutions 143 and 144 to set water and wastewater rates

Mayor Chad Stevens read Resolution No. 143 setting the city’s new water rates, then opened the floor for a motion. Councilmember Shayne Hansen moved to adopt the resolution and Councilmember Raymonda Furness seconded; a roll-call vote recorded YES from Kevin VanWagner, Raymonda Furness, Shayne Hansen and Brett Leavitt and the resolution was adopted.
Shortly thereafter the mayor read Resolution No. 144 setting wastewater rates. Councilmember Brett Leavitt moved to adopt the wastewater resolution and Shayne Hansen seconded; the same four councilmembers cast recorded YES votes and the resolution was adopted. The minutes record the actions as formal readings followed by motions and recorded roll-call approvals.
