Town insurance to cover full replacement after water damage; sensor install set for Sept. 18

Peter said he spoke with VLCT insurance (contact: Kelly), who confirmed the town has complete replacement coverage; the policy pays an initial 80% of replacement costs and holds 20% until completion to cover unforeseen work.
Mary-Catherine Graziano moved, and the board approved, allowing Chair Brzozowy to forward the new remediation/repair quote to the town attorney for review before signing. Karen Brunner reported a Clear Water Filtration quote of $4,995 for pump-room work that would use existing equipment and does not require a pre-work water test; Culligan provided a higher, preliminary estimate and would replace equipment and require testing. Liquid Stone is preparing a separate floor-repair quote.
