The Isle La Motte Selectboard on Sept. 17 authorized Chair Peter Brzozowy to sign documents for two Better Roads grants supporting culvert and road erosion projects. The board approved preconstruction paperwork for GA1045, an already awarded grant for $11,500 that requires 20 percent town participation, and the FY2026 Better Roads application BR1339 for $15,900 with a $3,975 town match.
Robin Gutierrez updated the board on FY2025 culvert projects and the town’s plan to prioritize segments that the Road Erosion Inventory flagged as high-need. The board also instructed Donna Bohannon to order 12 delineators for two curves identified near Turner/Dale and New Road and agreed that Robin and board members Pat Treckman and Joe Deller will coordinate grant-site selection and engineering support before the October 31 Better Roads application deadline.
