Library placement and town property maintenance were among the items raised at the meeting. Joyce Tuck asked the board to keep columns with the library while repairs to the town-owned cannon are completed and while officials decide a final placement. The board did not adopt a final decision at the Aug. 6 meeting.
Separately, Joe Deller reported that he could not enter Brothers Camp because of downed fencing, trees and overgrowth, raising maintenance concerns the board agreed to address in future sessions. These items were raised as other business during the meeting and will be revisited in follow-up discussions.
