A staff member led the committee dmission and onboarding for the Baltimore County School Overcrowding Advisory Committee, describing the group's charge to review school crowding and advise the county executive, county council, the Baltimore County superintendent and the school board. "All the recommendations that you all make... will be an annual report of recommendations based off of all the data that you analyze," the staff member said.
At the meeting's end members nominated and confirmed leadership for the committee. One committee member volunteered for chair and another accepted vice chair; the nominations were seconded and approved by voice vote. Staff told members the committee will publish meeting agendas and recordings online and follow Robert's Rules for motions and votes going forward.
