Jensen Beach drainage and Church Street designs move forward; notice to pre‑proceed issued

County staff reported progress on Jensen Beach projects during the capital projects review. Jordan Pastorius said the West End Boulevard drainage improvement options have been submitted to the county survey department and the project is planned as a two-phase effort (drainage followed by sidewalks and parking).
On Church Street, Pastorius confirmed the contract was signed and a notice to pre-proceed was issued, with an expected completion in late December. "The notice to pre proceed was issued, expecting completion, late December," Pastorius said. Staff noted three initial concept designs were submitted for Church Street and that public works will review them before a concept is taken to the NAC for public input.
Board members asked whether all three concepts would be presented to the NAC; staff said one or two concepts will likely return depending on public works' acceptance and necessary rework.
