The Isle La Motte Selectboard interviewed four candidates for the Selectboard Assistant position on June 4. Each candidate described a project they had led and affirmed willingness to maintain the town website if trained. The board had reviewed resumes before the meeting and gave each candidate time to speak about an initiative they had taken.
After the interviews the board entered an executive session at 7:46 p.m.; the session ended at 8:02 p.m. The minutes state that no candidate was chosen at that time and that the board requested that candidates submit non-work references. Board members said an update will follow once references are received and reviewed.
