Council appoints members to planning, BBJ, budget and library committees

At its Feb. 18 meeting the Lowell City Council approved a package of appointment resolutions to fill expired terms on several citizen bodies. Councilor Tim Stratis moved to approve Resolution 843 (Planning Commission appointments); Councilor Jimmy Murray seconded. The motion passed unanimously, 5-0.
The council proceeded to approve Resolution 844 (BBJ Committee appointments), Resolution 845 (Budget Committee appointments), and Resolution 846 (Library Committee appointments) with the same unanimous vote pattern. No public comment opposing any appointment was recorded and no individual appointees were discussed in detail in the minutes; the motions were presented and approved as part of new business.
