Councilor Gail Harris asked why the gate was not included in the structural inspection; Baker clarified the bridge inspection was structural in scope and that gate issues would be handled by an overhead-door or gate contractor. Baker said the expired IGA would not prevent opening the bridge to the public while repairs and IGA renewal discussions proceed.
