At the April 13 meeting the Okemah Board of Education entered executive session pursuant to O.S. 25, Sec. 307(B) to discuss a range of personnel matters. The agenda and subsequent open-session acknowledgement list many hiring actions (Exhibits A–C), including certified career personnel and adjunct hires, completed probationary statuses, several resignations, and requests for sick leave donations for two employees.
Exhibit A lists hiring of certified career personnel for 2026–2027 with many named individuals. Exhibits B and C list personnel completing probationary statuses (second-year and first-year completed, respectively). The transcript records the names included on the exhibits (for example, Sharlet Brown; Adam Cooper; Patrick Dixon; LeighAnne Harelson; Ashley Bagwell; Logan Britt; and others). The transcript does not include recorded vote tallies for each personnel hire or resignation in the open text supplied, but the board acknowledged return to open session and repeated the items for consideration in open session.
