The Okemah Board of Education on March 9 approved a resolution authorizing the leasing of certain real property to the Okfuskee County Educational Facilities Authority and directed the President, Clerk and Superintendent to execute any documents related to the ground lease. The motion was made by Board member J.C. Haddox, seconded by Gina Brandt, and recorded as passed (Yea:4, Absent:1).
Separately, the board approved a resolution to accept a sublease under which the Okfuskee County Educational Facilities Authority will sublease certain real property and improvements back to the district, and again authorized district officers to execute documents related to the sublease; the motion was made by J.C.
