Superintendent Brenda Taylor provided the board with multiple operational updates at the Nov. 13 meeting. Items highlighted included the financial report, the All School Veterans Program, and a reported 139 attendees at the elementary Thanksgiving meal. Taylor also told the board that staff members Max and Ashli applied for a cybersecurity grant and that she submitted an application for a $70,000 REAP grant.
Taylor reported bond updates, noted delivery of two new buses and said the district is awaiting delivery of an agricultural truck and drums. She recognized staff members Mrs. Lively, Mrs. Hallett, Mrs. Peters and Mrs. Hutson-Miller for recent staff celebrations.
