The Oklahoma Union board moved to accept the highest bids recorded on its sealed-bid sheet for district surplus items. The motion, made by Witney Allen and seconded by Joanne Langworthy, covered a 2017 Dodge Ram 2500 crew cab 4x4; a 2004 John Deere ZTRK lawn mower with 60" deck; four football field lights with poles; and three pieces of metal playground equipment. The board approved acceptance of the highest bids 4-0 (Cole absent).
The packet included a bid-record sheet that listed bidder names and amounts for each item. For example, the 2017 Dodge Ram 2500 was listed with a $19,543 bid from Terry Harris; the 2004 John Deere mower was listed with a $777.77 bid from David Drews. The board’s motion accepted the highest bids as recorded on that sheet.
