Executive Director Brad Bailey reported at the March 10 meeting that the Commission had received six new complaints since the prior meeting; staff resolved four and closed two, and two complaints remain as carryovers. The Deputy Executive Director provided a hiring update, stating staff are filling an assistant position to support agency operations.
The Chair provided an update on the candidate search for a new Executive Director, noting the search is active because of Director Bailey’s pending departure. Staff and commissioners thanked Commissioner Cassie McGlothlin for her service in her final meeting. Staff indicated they will continue tracking complaints and proceed with recruitment and transition planning.
