Deputy Executive Director Marilyn Maxwell presented the advertising enforcement report, which the minutes say reflected anonymous reports, mystery-shop investigations, random on-site investigations and consent orders in process. Commissioners and staff discussed a range of advertising-rule enforcement topics and the administrative and legislative progress of advertising-rule amendments adopted in January 2026.
Executive Director Brad Bailey also updated the Commission on ongoing vendor searches, including a search for new e-licensing systems and an evaluation of proposals responding to a Request for Information for an AI-based dealer-advertising evaluation tool. No procurement decisions or formal vendor selections were taken at this meeting.
