CHS ASB president reports volleyball, FFA and Key Club successes and upcoming events

High School ASB President Haley Westlund updated the Board on student activities and athletics. She reported that CHS volleyball had an "outstanding performance at the 1A State Tournament, where the team earned 3rd place—the best finish in program history!" She also reported Key Club completed its annual food drive and that FFA had successful showings at Nationals (Milk Team 1st; ENR 3rd; Meats 5th; Food Science 13th).
Westlund said leadership students are working on the Gratitude Slips project (delivery the Tuesday before Thanksgiving Break), planning spirit week for Dec. 15 and organizing fundraisers and a winter dance scheduled for February. The Board received the student report as part of routine updates from student leadership.
