The Oklahoma Union Public School Board convened April 9, 2025, at 7:01 p.m. in the high school conference room and approved routine governance items, including minutes and multiple fund encumbrances.
Board President Mark Huntington called the meeting to order. By motion of Hannah Nolte, seconded by Witney Allen, the board approved the March 12, 2025 regular meeting minutes; the motion carried 3-0 with KY Cole absent. The board then approved General Fund purchase orders #272-277 for $3,522.25 and General Fund encumbrances #1286-1438 along with General Fund payroll totaling $530,469.51.
In addition the board approved Building Fund Purchase Order #10 in the amount of $60,000.00, Building Fund encumbrances #71-76 with building payroll of $5,439.61, and Bond Fund #32 encumbrance #9 for $300.00. Each set of financial approvals passed by recorded unanimous votes of members present.
The approvals are standard monthly business to keep district payroll, encumbrances and capital outlays on schedule; no public comment was recorded on these items during the meeting. The board adjourned at 8:43 p.m.
