CFO reports Sept. 30 general fund balance of $2.63 million; board reminded of Oct. 25 deadline

Chief Financial Officer Heather C. Pinkerton presented the district’s Budget Status Report to the board on Oct. 15, noting a General Fund balance of $2,630,426.73 as of Sept. 30, 2024.
Pinkerton said the September reporting included only half of the annual insurance payment this month (listed as $764,809.34) and recorded a restricted donation from the Chehalis Foundation of $994,559.63 (preliminary for Aug. 31). She also reminded the board that Green Hill’s financial statement deadline is Oct. 25.
The board did not take action on the budget at this meeting but received the report as part of routine fiscal oversight. The presentation covered multiple district funds including Capital Projects, Debt Service, ASB and Transportation.
