Board approves Chehalis CTE District Plan for 2024–25

The motion to approve the plan was made by Director J Vander Stoep and seconded by Director Tim LeDuc; the board voted 5-0 in favor. Donnie Bunker, W.F. West assistant principal and CTE director, presented the program as part of the administrative report and the district’s student achievement highlights.
Board members framed the approval as an annual confirmation of programs and curriculum submitted by W.F. West. No votes against or abstentions were recorded. The approval clears the way for the district to continue CTE activities and events noted in the presentation, including the W.F. West CTE Kickoff scheduled for Oct. 17.
The board will revisit related program-level reports and budget implications during future meetings if additional funding or changes are proposed.
