Chehalis board elects officers for 2025 and names representatives

At its Dec. 10 special meeting the Chehalis board elected J. Vander Stoep as board president and Tim LeDuc as vice president for 2025, and confirmed representatives to legislative and scholarship committees.
The Chehalis School District Board completed its annual reorganization during the Dec. 10 special meeting. Board members elected J. Vander Stoep as board president for 2025 after a nomination by Tim LeDuc and a second by Kelsi Hamilton; the roll call vote was unanimous.
Tim LeDuc was nominated and elected vice president (motion by Kelsi Hamilton, second by Larry Petersen). The board also confirmed Kelsi Hamilton to continue as legislative representative for the second year of a two‑year term, appointed Vander Stoep and Colleen State to serve as West Scholarship Board representatives, and agreed that LeDuc will continue as the WIAA board representative.
