The Chehalis School District Board of Directors convened Nov. 19, 2024, and unanimously adopted the proposed agenda on a motion by Larry Petersen, seconded by Tim LeDuc.
The board approved the Consent Agenda by a 5-0 vote (motion by J Vander Stoep, seconded by Colleen State). The board recorded warrants and disbursements including payroll taxes of $676,033.02 and PR retirement of $505,380.59; Capital Projects warrants listed line items of $236,674.99 and $72,237.98.
Members adopted Resolution No. 24-25-001 proclaiming Hunter Wilson Day by a 5-0 vote. The board also approved the second reading and adoption of BP 3207 (Prohibition of Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying) and completed first readings or approvals for BP 6700 (Nutrition), BP 6701 (Recess and Physical Activity) and BP 6702 (Wellness). Several policies were noted for revision or further consideration: BP 3520 (Student Fees) was held for December's meeting.
The meeting concluded with a reconvened executive session and adjournment at 8:46 p.m.
