The Paden Board approved a package of policy updates and new policies provided by the Oklahoma State School Boards Association (OSSBA). Approved items included BEC (Executive Sessions), GBA (Open Records Requests) and GBA‑E (Open Records Request Form), CKAK (Behavioral Threat Assessment) and CKAK‑E (checklist), BBF (Code of Ethics for Board Members), and DOB (Due Process for Administrators). Kelly Seaton moved the motion and Jeremiah Case seconded; the vote was unanimous.
Board adoption of these OSSBA items updates district policy language and establishes procedural forms (such as the open records request form) and behavioral‑threat assessment materials for district use. The minutes record approval but do not include the policy text; administration will incorporate the approved language into the district policy manual.
