The Eagle Township Board approved two separate budget amendments at its June 16 meeting.
For FY 2025-26, the board voted to increase Sick Leave Expense (account 101 714.000) by $200 and decrease Employee Life Insurance (account 101 716.000) by $200; the minutes state this accrual causes no change to the projected ending fund balance. For FY 2026-27, the board approved increasing Gravel & Construction (account 101 446 813.000) by $25,000 and reducing the General Fund balance by the same amount to provide additional funding for approved road projects. Both motions were moved by Clerk Laurie Briggs-Dudley and supported by Trustee Michelle Hoppes and carried during the meeting.
