Ottawa council receives June reports from police, fire, registrar, parking and building official

At the July 7 meeting the council received the June reports: Police Chief Michael J. Cheatham, Fire Chief Brian R. Bressner, Registrar Shelly L. Roalson (32 death certificates; $1,820.00 fees), Parking and Adjudication Fines ($3,568.00), and Building Official Mathew W. Stafford.
Commissioner Thomas G. Ganiere moved to receive and place on file the Report of Police Chief Michael J. Cheatham for June 2026; the council approved the motion unanimously. Commissioner Ganiere also moved to receive the Report of Fire Chief Brian R. Bressner for June 2026; that report was likewise placed on file by unanimous vote.
Mayor Robert Hasty presented administrative reports: Registrar Shelly L. Roalson reported 32 death certificates issued with fees totaling $1,820.00 for June 2026; the Parking and Adjudication Fine Departments reported $3,568.00 collected for June 2026; and Building Official Mathew W. Stafford’s report for June 2026 was received and placed on file. All items were approved by unanimous vote.
