MS/HS principal outlines athletics, eligibility checks and Homecoming plans

MS/HS Principal Tammy Hixon updated the board on athletics, student eligibility and upcoming Homecoming activities.
"We are approaching the end of the girls' softball season, and we are looking forward to celebrating our senior players during Senior Night on Monday, the 16th," Hixon said. She reported a strong turnout at the Woodland game and noted the varsity football team will play at Stroud on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Hixon confirmed school safety drills are complete for the semester, reminded the board of the early-release day on Sept. 13, and described recent PTO snack-cart activities and birthday support. She also noted probation week and that full eligibility checks for at-risk students begin next week.
