On April 10 the City of Ottawa Civil Service Commission approved final eligibility lists for General Office and General Labor/Building Maintenance, the latter reflecting five veteran preference points awarded to Jonathon McGeorge. The approval motion was moved by Kim Czyz and seconded by Jim Reilly; the motion passed unanimously.
The Commission also recorded adoption and expiration dates for several eligibility registers: General Labor/Building Maintenance (adopted 4/10/2026; expires 4/10/2028), General Office (adopted 4/10/2026; expires 4/10/2028), Telecommunicator (adopted 1/7/2025; expires 1/7/2027), Vehicle Maintenance (adopted 11/22/2024; expires 11/22/2026), and Water/Wastewater Operator (adopted 1/16/2026; expires 1/16/2028). The meeting was adjourned at 2:02 p.m.
