The Bristow City Council voted Sept. 15 to close portions of Main Street and East 7th Street for the Homecoming Parade & Pep Rally scheduled for Oct. 3, 2025. Councilmember Joe Church moved to approve the closures and Trustee/Councilmember Judd Johns seconded; the motion passed on a roll-call vote with all present members voting Aye. The approved closures are Main Street from 12th Street to 7th Street from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and East 7th Street from Main to East Elm from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Council did not record additional conditions in the minutes; the action was presented and adopted as an agenda item and will be implemented by city operations in coordination with event organizers and public safety personnel.
