Bristow approves $16,390 to replace City Hall desktop computers

The Bristow City Council voted Oct. 8 to spend $16,390 with Nobel Systems to replace desktop computers in City Hall, the treasurer's office, water billing and the inspection department. City Clerk Sabrina Mounce told the council the replacements were needed "due to Windows no longer supporting Windows 10," and the quote from Nobel Systems was approved by roll call despite one dissenting vote from Councilmember Frank Groom.
Councilmember Judd Johns moved for approval and Councilmember Joe Church seconded the motion. The purchase was charged to the city budget line indicated in the minutes; staff will proceed with procurement through the vendor quoted at the meeting and schedule installations in the affected offices.
