Finance staff noted the county is transitioning its accounting system to a Tyler ERP and is moving reporting toward a modified accrual basis in preparation for the audit. Tax and revenue details presented included sales tax collections of $94,633,124 (99% of estimate), meals/lodging taxes up year‑to‑date, and cigarette taxes below estimate. The board voted to adopt the appropriation resolution and to approve payment of the bills list; staff will provide further detail to the finance committee as requested.
