Council voted unanimously to advertise a proposed amendment to the borough’s tenant-registration ordinance that would permit charging violators more than once in a year if they fail to provide required information. The motion to advertise was made by Councilor Steadman and seconded by Councilor Osborn.
Borough Manager Cindy Wells presented the proposal to change enforcement frequency; council agreed to move the amendment to advertisement so the ordinance change can be considered formally after public notice.
