Marion County approves consent items including OHA funding amendments and juvenile grant

The Board approved the consent calendar Jan. 15, including an Oregon Health Authority amendment for $634,437 to support community addictions and mental health services through June 30, 2015, acceptance of $800,000 for juvenile behavioral rehabilitative services, and two property tax refunds.
The Marion County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on Jan. 15 to approve the consent calendar, which included multiple financial actions. The health department will receive amendment #7 totaling $634,437 from the Oregon Health Authority to provide financial assistance for operation and contracting of community addictions and mental health services through June 30, 2015. The board also approved receipt of $800,000 from the Oregon Health Authority for behavioral rehabilitative services at the Juvenile Department.
The consent calendar contained two tax-refund orders from the tax collector: a refund of $19,435.70 to Janis Crouch and a refund of $17,999.35 to Calyx Fruit, LLC. Commissioner Patti Milne moved approval of the consent calendar; Commissioner Janet Carlson seconded and the voice vote was unanimous.
The board also approved an order establishing board, committee and commission assignments for Marion County elected officials as part of the consent packet. No public comment was received on these items.
