Two members of the public spoke during the Oct. 9 meeting. Melissa Whiddon raised the possibility of a community garden and requested a site for it; Brett Mellem reported water drainage concerns by the school and asked the council to consider the issue.
Separately, Finance Officer Brandy Skonhovd announced community logistics: the Goblin Walk will be held Oct. 30 from 4–6 p.m., with a carnival and supper from 5–7 p.m. at the Viborg Community Center. She also confirmed that the city and library will be closed Nov. 11 for Veterans Day.
