Tom Doan of Clarity Credit Union presented a proposal for a full-service mobile branch vehicle to visit Parma on a proposed schedule (Tuesdays and Thursdays). Doan said the mobile unit functions as a small to medium branch with staff who both operate the vehicle and serve as greeters. He reported the unit had no security problems while operating in Marsing and emphasized services such as personal loans and basic account access for underserved communities.
The council heard the presentation and agreed to add Clarity Credit Union's mobile-branch proposal to a future meeting agenda for further consideration and potential scheduling. No formal approval or contract was taken at the Jan. 13 meeting.
